Dear Friends:
The TSG Center building process is proceeding and finally we can see some actual, physical progress taking place. Our plant salvage team has trimmed all the trees that need to be saved and replanted. They are now boxed and being watered to keep them happy. In 2-3 weeks, they will be moved to a new location called the “nursery” where they will be watered consistently and maintained until the building is completed and they can be re-planted.
We were told by our landscape designers that boxing plants and keeping them in place gives the plants time to adjust to a new environment and they will not go into shock once moved. The intent is to save as many native plants as possible and use them in the landscaping. Next up are some very tall Saguaro Cacti that need to be moved and kept safe so they do not die from shock.
Other items of progress are:
- We have electricity and we have water now.
- We are waiting for the building permit and are hoping to have this in the next 3 to 4 weeks.
Please pray and send good thoughts to this wonderful project.
Love and appreciation,
Gita
